Application Checklist

Room choices are not guaranteed. There are a limited amount of single/triple rooms. Your completed application should be submitted as soon as possible for your best opportunity to receive your preferred housing. Students are assigned based on the date their completed application is received.

Incomplete or unanswered questions can affect your on-campus living application status.

Pay the $50 Non-Refundable Application Fee and $150 Security Deposit. Applications will not be reviewed until payment has been received

You can expect to receive information via email confirming the receipt of your application within two to three weeks.

– If the correspondence indicates COMPLETE with no clarifications, there is nothing further you need to do.

– If the correspondence indicates clarifications are needed: call 1.800.555.0482 to take care of clarifications.


Services for Students with Disabilities

If you have a disability that will affect any aspect of your stay at Fresno State Student Housing, please do not hesitate to contact us regarding any accommodations that you may require. We have a limited number of rooms available in certain buildings designated for students with disabilities.

You will also need to register with the Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) office located in the library. Room assignments begin June 1st. If your SSD request is not submitted prior to room assignments or if we do not have a completed application, then we may not be able to accommodate your needs.

Gender Neutral Housing

Student Housing is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive experience for all students. We offer a gender-inclusive housing option to ensure there is a supportive space for residents of all gender identities and gender expressions.

Quiet Halls

There are a few quiet halls on-campus for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere. In these halls, quiet hours are earlier than they would usually be. In quiet living areas, quiet hours are observed from 8:00pm to 7:00am, Sunday – Thursday and midnight to 7:00am on Friday and Saturday. The designated quiet halls are: Aspen (Suites), Ponderosa (Suites), and Homan (Community Hall).
