Fresno State Student Housing and the Africana Studies Program has developed a unique experience for incoming students living in student housing interested in exploring contemporary and historical Africana issues and experiences. Rooted in the Africana Studies’ academic curriculum, the program is designed to promote a sense of community among students who may be interested in either developing a cursory understanding of the Africana experience or majoring/minoring in Africana Studies. All students are welcome to participate. If you are interested in the Tubman/Douglass program please indicate your interest in the Multi-Cultural Community on the Application Personal Profile.
If you have any questions regarding the Harriet Tubman/Frederick Douglass Welcoming Program, please contact us via email.
