Fresno State’s only on-campus housing offers summer conference housing accommodations and dining to adult and youth groups hosting educational events, training seminars, conferences, sports camps, and other events during the summer.

  • Fresno is located at the heart of the Central Valley.
  • Fresno State Student Housing is made up of six suite-style halls and three community style halls.
  • The university is 10 minutes from the Fresno-Yosemite International Airport and 20 minutes from the bus or train station.
  • Our residence halls are just a few steps from the Dining Hall and within walking distance of classrooms, meeting facilities, restaurants, the library, gyms, and the Save Mart Center.

One Stop Shop, Summer Spot

In a place like ours, you’ll never have to leave. We offer entertainment rooms, meeting spaces, and a large number of facilities for laundry, gym equipment, etc.

Areas like the pool or the recreation rooms are available to reserve for your group and use as a space as well.

The booking process is a simple four-step process. Our housing is not only fun, but affordable for all groups.

Step-By-Step Guide on Payment

Invoices and statements are mailed to the person who signed the Preliminary Request Form and reflect the following charges:

  • Holding Reservation
  • Two Weeks Prior to Arrival Date
  • Check out

Groups With Linen will be provided:

  • 2 sheets
  • 1 bath towel
  • 1 hand towel
  • 1 washcloth

(pillows and pillow cases are not included in the linen packet).

Linen packages can be exchanged once a week at a prearranged time in the designated linen area.

Groups Without Linen:

Will need to bring and wash their own linen or sleeping bag, pillow and towels.

All guests:

Bring their own pillows and pillowcases (if not provided by us), hangers, toiletries, clothes and any other items they might need during their stay.

Patrols

Patrols of the buildings, hall interiors, grounds, and parking areas are conducted during the late evening and early morning hours by Public Safety Assistants (PSAs) trained and advised by a University Police Officer. These PSAs patrol in pairs and walk through every occupied floor of every building every night.

Guest Supervision

Appropriate adult to youth supervision (under 21) by groups is required at all times when using the facility and/or grounds. This supervision plays a significant role in the successful and positive interaction between the many different groups staying at Student Housing during the same time period.

Electronic Key

Student Housing has an electronic key system with coded room key provided for each guest.

Alcohol

The consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages by individuals under 21 years of age is against California law and is not permitted in Fresno State Student Housing.

1. Minors: University Police and the group leader will be notified. Violator may be dismissed.
2. Adults: Refer to your group’s policies.

If you are 21 or over,

a) you may consume alcoholic beverages inside your room/suite only and not in the presence of minors,
b) alcohol must be transported in non-transparent bags, and
c) kegs or party balls are not permitted. Violators: subject to dismissal and University Police notified.

Smoking

Smoking or using tobacco products is not allowed on campus property, including auxiliary owned and operated facilities, the Save Mart Center, Valley Children’s Stadium and all other athletic venues.

Noise

Quiet hours are from 11:00 pm-7:00 am daily.
Your noise or conduct may not disturb another guest during your stay.

Balconies

No running, smoking, horseplay, climbing, bikes, Fresno State Student Housing furniture or BBQs permitted on balconies. This is for safety and the courtesy of those guests living on the first floor of your hall.

Furniture

Furniture in lounges, lobbies and other public areas are not to be removed from location or damaged by residents. Fresno State Student Housing bedroom or suite furniture is not allowed outdoors (see damage section).

Parking

Lot P27 is located adjacent to our complex. Summer conference guests may park cars in this lot during their stay, free of charge.

  • Each car must have a summer conference parking pass visibly displayed on the dash.
  • Parking passes will be handed out to guests at the time of check-in.
  • PARKING PASS ONLY VALID IN LOT P27
  • Everything is subject to change.

 

Wireless Internet

Wireless internet is available throughout Fresno State Student Housing! You may request free internet access codes on the Preliminary Request Form.

In order to ensure the facilities are ready for each group’s use on the reserved arrival and departure dates, check-in is available after 2:00pm and check-out must be completed by 10:00am.

If there is not another group checking out or checking in to the same facility on the designated arrival/departure dates, it may be possible to arrange for an early check-in or late check-out on the designated arrival/departure date. Arrangements must be made a minimum of 30 days in advance and are subject to availability.

In order to avoid a full day charge for each early check-in or late check-out, the check-in or check-out must be completed within the prearranged time frame and on the scheduled check-in/check-out date.
